Purpose

The Smith’s started this blog with the intent to share their love for exploring Michigan every Summer. Specifically all things Saugatuck! She needed a place to show her photos, and document all the cool things to do in the quaint town of Saugatuck! He has an AirBnB in town, and together they love hosting their guests and giving them recommendations on all the “must-see” and “must-do” things!

Story

She is a business executive turned travel blogger, her passion for writing dates back to childhood and the desire to be a journalist, publish a book, and become a successful blogger.

However 20-something years of adulthood, careers, business and family – LIFE got in the way of her passion for writing!

Here is a brief time-line:

2010 – started dog blog

2011 – started mom blog

2013 – started business blog

2016 – started marketing blog

2018 – started lifestyle blog

2019 – started travel blog – this one!

He manages the AirBnB and takes visitors up the Kalamazoo River on The Cabbage Creeper. She manage the blog, does most of the writing and take lots and lots of photos! As they spend more time in Michigan, they will share our experiences here!
